主讲人简介:

James Bullock

英国朴次茅斯大学PSE课程项目负责人，主要研究领域涉及：英语二语教学、应用语言学、海事英语、商务英语、跨国教育等，曾在英国、法国、奥地利、中国等国从事教学与研究工作。

This workshop intends to explore the following questions:

●     What difficulties are faced by international students when they make the transition to Higher Education in the UK?

●     What role do Pre-Sessional English (PSE) courses play in helping students make this transition?

●     What steps can be taken before the students arrive in the UK?

There will be a short presentation on the University of Portsmouth PSE courses followed by a discussion where views and opinions from attendees are welcome.
