讲座内容摘要

Management of Superdiversity in Multinational Companies

Ji?í Nekvapil (Charles University, Prague)

The talk addresses a form of migration in which people move between countries as part of multinational companies, and investigates the specific case of German and Korean companies operating in the Czech Republic as potentially superdiverse (and superdiversifying) contexts. It employs Language Management Theory to identify features and processes through which superdiversity may be manifested, but also to elucidate factors suppressing it, mainly tendencies toward homogenization or unification.
