Postgraduates of 2014 and Supervisors Meet in the CFL

On Sept. 24th, 142 postgraduates of 2014 met with their supervisors at the Lecture Hall, CFL Building. Also present at the meeting were some party leaders of CFL.
The meeting was chaired by Zhang Yan, vice dean of CFL. All the students were warmly welcomed by Shang Xin, who encouraged them to create new ideas on their road toward academic success. More importantly, he stressed the importance of independent learning. Shang Xin’s remark was followed by some brief introduction to such master’s degree program as English Language and Literature, Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, Japanese Language and Literature, and Master of Translation (MT) by directors of each program. Students therefore have had a better understanding of the faculty team, teaching plan and teaching focus of their own program.
