Japanese Department

The Japanese Department of Shanghai Maritime University was officially founded and started the enrollment in 2000. It enrolls in 2 parallel classes each year and the class number is controlled within about 28. Since 2013, 5 graduate candidates with the research orientation of Japanese language have been enrolled in. The Japanese Department currently has 14 full-time teachers including 12 Chinese teachers and 2 Japanese teachers. As for their title and degree, 1 is professor, 3 are associate professors and 6 teachers hold doctoral degrees. All teachers have been studied abroad.
