Better attitude, better life-on the 5th Psychological Knowledge Contest
(Student Affairs Office of College of Foreign Languages)
The 5th Psychological Knowledge Contest, with “better attitude, better life” as its theme, is
held on the afternoon of Nov. 20th, 2013 at Lecture Hall by “Warm heart”- a society from
the Psychological Association of CFL. Ms. Sun and Mr. Huang are present at the contest as judges.
There are 20 objective questions to start with for 31 teams, and the top 8 get to the next round,
where there will be quick responses instead. Everybody tries his best to get ahead and
teamwork also means a great deal. Interactions between participants and audiences are
what take the contest to another level. After all the quick responses, the “not quick enough”
teams have to join the audiences, left with only 2 teams on stage.
The final round is time for debating. Fresh freshmen VS. sophisticated sophomores. And
in the end the team of freshmen is defeated, but also well-respected for their outstanding
performance.
During the contest, everyone gets to understand a great deal of psychological knowledge
while having fun. This contest intends to lay groundwork for psychological education, and
surely will promote further development of it.
