On theafternoon of Jan. 14th, CFL held a new round defense for theapplication of Excellent Teaching Group and Academic Innovation Team, it isalso a mid-term working conference to assess the quality of the work done bythe former teams. All the members of the CFL professors committee attended thedefense conference to judge and evaluate the quality of each group’s workpresented in the forms of Powerpoint before answering the professor’s quesions.
To betterimprove the quality of undergraduate teaching and reform the teaching projects,CFL set up two programs, namelyExcellent Teaching Group and Academic Innovation Team. These programs can alsopromote the construction of the key discilines and the development of the keyresearch center.The cultivation of the Excellent Teaching Group aims tostrengthen the building of undergraduate teaching, set up an effectivecollaborative mechanism and enhance the comprehensive, especially teachingability of teachers in CFL so as to ensure an increasing teaching quality ofwhole CFL teaching staff. The foundation of Academic Innovation Team aims tocultivate an innovative group to strenghen the core competitiveness. Bothprograms have gained great achivements in the past one year.
