Seminar of Specific Evaluation on Master of Translation and Interpretation Was Held at College of Foreign Languages
Onthe afternoon of January 29th, the Seminar of Specific Evaluation on Master ofTranslation and Interpretation was held at College of Foreign Languages.Presided by Professor Shang Xin, President of College of Foreign Languages, theseminar witnesses the presence of Professor Wang Juquan, Professor HanZhonghua, Professor Wang Dawei, Professor Zheng Lixin and relevant leaders ofthe College, who come to offer quite a few constructive suggestions.
Tostart with, Professor Shang gives a brief introduction about the commencementof the specific evaluation of MTI and all the related stuff in process, andpoints out that the evaluation has received great emphasis from the Universityand the College, which is why the executives of College of Foreign Languageshave visited a number of universities nationwide and invited evaluation expertsfrom them for counseling. It is also admitted that there's a certain gap fromthe requirement of the evaluation, and therefore every respectable professionalis appreciated to share his ideas or suggestions. Professor Shang also reportsto everyone the present situation, as well as the future plan, of theconstruction of Maritime LanguageApplication, a secondary doctoral program. What's more, Professor ZhangYan, who's in charge of the education of postgraduates, and Professor WengFengxiang, who's in charge of the the program of MTI, both seek respectiveopinions of experts about collection and arrangement of specific documents forthis evaluation.
