Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition of College of Foreign Languages Comes to an End Successfully
On April 1st, 2015, from 13:00 to16:15, young teachers’ teaching competition organized by our college was heldin room 128 and room 215 of foreign language building , whose participants weredivided into two groups . 32 young teachers from 7 professional divisions of our collegeparticipated in the competition. They are shipping English , English(translation),business English , Japanese, basic and extension courses in the teaching andresearch section as well as special courses for non-English majors. ProfessorsWu Jianguo, Mao Liqun,Weng Fengxiang and Mao Fenglin were involved in therating as judges. President Shangxin, Vice President of teaching sectionHeShaobin, some teachers and students watched the competition as audience .
After heated competition, three young teachers won the first prize who were: Zhu Haixia and Li Jiayun from business English department and Zhangdan from extensioncourses division in teaching and research section for non-English majors. Besides,five young teachers won the second prize and eight teachers won the thirdprize.
Theyoung teachers’ teaching competition held by our college reflected ourcollege’s great emphasis on the school-level competition which will be heldsoon. Besides, it provided a stage for young teachers to show their teachingability and played an important role in gradually improving teaching ability.
