Between Oct. 30th and Nov. 1st, 2015, the 2nd CACSEC National SummitForum on Disciplinary Construction of Contrastive and Translation Studiesbetween English and Chinese”, which was sponsored by China Association forComparative Studies of English and Chinese(CACSEC), was held in our college.
Main participants are: Prof. Kong Fancun, vice chancellor of SMU; Prof.Yan Chensong from PLA University of Foreign Language, vice president of CACSEC;Prof. Pan Wenguo from East China University, former president of CACSEC; Prof. Luisevon Flotow from University of Ottawa, etc.
In the two-day forum, with the topic of ”Disciplinary Construction of Contrastiveand Translation Studies between English and Chinese in view of cultural consciousness”,four keynote speeches, nine reports, three group discussion and a salon wereheld.
