The 2nd Maritime Language and Application Discipline Construction and Talent Training (International) High-level Forum held in our university
From Dec. 2nd to Dec. 4th, the 2nd Maritime Language and Application Discipline Construction and Talent Training (International) High-level Forum was successfully held in our university. The forum was sponsored by Shanghai International Studies Association and Shanghai Maritime University, and hosted by the CFL with the theme of “Striving for International Maritime Institutional Rights and Construction of Maritime Language and Talent Training”. Jin Yongxing, Li Qingping, Ye Xingguo, Clive Cole, Xu Guibin, Wang Lifei, Jane D. Dagallon, Zhang Renping, Wu Zhihai and over 70 experts and scholars at home and abroad attended the forum.
Prof. Ye Xingguo thought highly of the leading role of our college in the study of maritime language and talent training.
The highlights of the forum included the internationality, diversity, high quality and the mode of simultaneous interpretation.
