The Chinese Dream

The Chinese Dream

When visiting the exhibition of “the road to revival”,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out, “To realize the Chinese nation’srejuvenation is the greatest dream of the Chinese nation in modern times.” Hisinterpretation not only shows a profound insight into the history of Chinasince modern times, but also reveals the common desire and the grand vision ofthe Chinese people of all ethnic groups, which can be served as the futuredirection of the party to lead the people. The Chinese Dream deeply revealedthe mainline or theme of Chinese modern historical development and it alsodepicts the tenacity of the Chinese nation to strive for rejuvenation since moderntimes. The essence of "Chinese Dream" is to realize the dream of thenational prosperity, national rejuvenation, people's happiness and socialharmony. However, the stage of development in contemporary China decides thatto build a well-off society in an all-round way is the basic requirement of theChinese Dream. Accordingly, the Chinese Dream also shows many importantcharacteristics of the era at this stage.

The Chinese dream is the dream of the revival of theChinese nation and the common dream of 1.3 billion Chinese people. Everyone hastheir own dreams, but we are parts of the same country. In this sense, everyone's dream is closely connected with national ones. Just as the proverbgoes that the rise and fall of the nation concerns everyone. The Chinese dreamis to make the country powerful but also to make people happy. Since theChinese nation is a community of destiny, only after the realization ofnational comprehensive scientific development, we can achieve our personaldreams. Also, if everyone is full of passion, the Chinese dream is beautifulenough. Born, growing up, living and having learned thousands of years of theChinese history in China, we closely linked together with the nation. We shareour happiness and sorrow with China.

As a college student, our current living condition iscertainly better than our elders. Because of different growing environment, wehave different ideas from the elders. They always say we, a group of childrenborn after 1990s, think much, do less, and they think we are far away from thereality and are the impetuous frivolous generation, but I want to say that weare dare to think, we are the generation of growing up with our own dreams.Born in the late 1980s and early 1990s, we are a generation full of dreams insteadof a flower blooming in arbitrary. We spare no efforts to move away obstacleand constantly find solutions to fulfill our dreams. When we divide theabstract dreams into concrete things, we find our dream is so far away, but wenever give up or abandon our dreams, otherwise, we do every thing by heart withour own efforts. Life makes us be mature, setback makes us learn to grow up,and experiences make us rich. We also learn that the greatest achievement inlife is to do what you want to do. However, we need to know that the unknownpain is always hidden behind something shiny on the surface. After havingexperienced ups and downs, we've learned to be stronger and to protectourselves better. As someone said, the theme of youth is always the choice and contest, but both or either of them is all about our dreams. We are now full of vigoralthough the road ahead is hazy, everything is possible. The reason why wedon’t hesitate to choose what we want in the life's crossroads is that we havea dream in our hearts to support us whether life is full of smooth or setbacks.Life is not always to lose or win, but still went ahead just because we have adream in our hearts. Although we will sometimes make mistakes or feelfrustrated, it doesn't matter, because we are young, we still have plenty oftime to correct them. Where there is a life, there is a movement. Collegestudents are in the prime time of life, so we should try to be braver andstrive for the rise of the Chinese nation without being reduced to low spirit.

As we all know that the stronger the youths are, thestronger the nation will be; the wealthier the youths are, the wealthier thenation will be. If the youths are excellent in the world, the nation will beexcellent in the world.
