measures of staff award for the school offoreign language (for trial implementation)

 Tofurther improve the bonus distribution management, strengthen the workstandardization and better implement openness , fairness  and justice, according to the basic spirit ofCollege Teachers' Congress on management reform document, combined with the actualsituation, the school hereby formulate the measures of staff award for theschool of foreign language (for trial implementation)

一、 definition of the staffaward

 Collegestaff award is an important way of the college in-service staff bonusallocation, the hand out of the staff award is based on the performance of thestaff in every academic year

According to the "foreign languagesinstitute staff award grants and the extra class fee standards (for TrialImplementation)" the staff award is handed out  four times yearly on National Day, laborday,the end of the first and second semester respectively.

二、the total of staff award

the total of staff  award in each academic year is decided by theunit conference of party and administration based on the level ofassessment  and the verification of thetotal amount.the allocation of the total amount is according to the collegefinancial resources, and the policy of general make up for possible shortageswith surpluses, the total amount shall not exceed 60% of the college schoolyear assessment bonus in total. The specific proportion and amount is  determined by the school party jointconference according to the actual situation.

(一) festival award onnational day and labor day

1Staff shall get the full award payment if he /she is in-service onthe month of the festival and work for more than 3 months between the twofestivals.

2 When the worker is not working on the festival month but he or sheis still one the job, if the working time is more than 3 months between the twofestivals, he or she will be granted  1/2of the full award; if the working time is between 1 and 3 months, he or shewill be granted 1/4 of the full award; if the working time is less than 1month, he will she will be receive any festival award.

3If the worker is studying on abroad, on full-time participation ofresearch, as a visiting scholar to another institution, or on short time sickleave(maternity leave), the proportion of holiday award shall be in line withthe last provision.

4To the new employees, when he or she is working on the festivalmonth, if the working time is less than two month, he or she shall be granted1/4 of the full award; if the working time is between 3 and 6 months, he or sheshall be granted  1/2 of the full award;if the working time is more than 7 months, he or she shall get the full award.

 Onthe job: teachers give lectures assigned by the school, staff go to work.If theteachers can not finish their teaching assignment because of all reasons, he orshe shall not be considered on the job.

(二) the grant of term-endbonus

1They staff shall get the full award when they are on the job thewhole semester.  

2When the worker is on the job the semester, but he or she goesabroad for further study, is on full participation of research,or as a visitingscholar in other institution  or on sickleave, maternity leave more than one month, the award shall be granted on theiractual working time.

3The new employees who work on the semester shall be granted theaward based on the actual time they work.

(三) if the followingcircumstance occur,the staff award shall be withheld or canceled.

1Due to criminal punishment or administrative sanctions, when theworker’s salary and allowance is canceled, the staff award shall be canceledtoo.

2When teaching accident happens, the teacher’s post allowance shallbe canceled; the staff award shall be canceled twice for first grade teachingaccident,once for second grade teaching accident, the award shall be halvedonce for third grade teaching accident.

3The staff who without the permission for leave,do not attend theschool staff meeting and activities of teaching research held by departments,except for they are giving lectures assigned by the school or attending othermeetings, their staff award will be reduced 100 yuan every time.If the staffcan not attend the meeting for other personal reasons, when they do get thepermission to leave, their staff award shall be reduced 50 yuan each time.

四、supplementary provisions

 Themeasures shall be published after the discussion of the teachers’ congress ofthe school of foreign language,if it is not comply with relevantstipulations,this measures shall prevail. The college conference of party andadministration shall be responsible for interpretation.
