The calculation method of teaching workload of CFL

Teaching workload of teachers is a reflection of amout of work performance. To do this job with fair, open, reasonably and transparent manner, will help to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the teachers to teach, and effectively motivate teachers to do a good job. To improve the statistical and computational work of teaching workload, to reflect institutionalized, standardized and humane care of the teaching management, to ensure and improve the quality of teaching, combined with our teaching characteristics and the specific circumstances, these procedures are formulated.

Firstthe standards of workload

Teacher’s teaching work is used the standard hours as the the unit of measurement, namely completes each prescribed teaching link, and a class hours for a standard hours. According to the prescribed method of coefficient calculating, different types of courses, and different class sizes can converted into standard hours. When calculating the workload, the units are standard hours. Each semester the teacher workload standards is 210 hours, failed to complete the required standards of teachers, their lack of workload should be deducted from the post allowance according to the post allowance devided 420 and multiplied by number of hours of actually missing; the ultra-hours can be paied 50 yuan per workload. This approach applies to the workload of classroom teaching and related work calculations.

Thrid,The provisions of coefficients of the number of people

1. 20 graduates of English major can form a base class; 30 undergraduate Japanese major or English major can form a base class; 35 graduates of the public foreign language or 35 undergraduates of the public foreign language can form a base class. Each additional person plus a coefficient 0.02, respectively 40,60,70 person are capped. The gratuate students of English major should less than or equal to 40 people, since the number of 41 people should plus the coefficent of 0.01; The number of undergraduates of English major or the Japanese major should reach to 60 people, since the number of 61 people should plus the coefficent of 0.01; The number of graduates of the public foreign language or undergraduates of the public foreign language should reach to 70 people, since the number of 71 people should plus the coefficent of 0.01, respectively 60,90,105 person are capped. Other classes increase coefficient should use the above-mentioned "base" as a reference.

2. 20 international students can form a base class and the coefficients of the number of people is 1.

3. 35 people of all the minor in lesson can form a base class, and the coefficient is 1.2.
