Notice on Selection of Scholarship of OutstandingPost-graduates in 2013

According to therequirements in document of outstanding post-graduates of Shanghai MaritimeUniversity scholarship funding method, we will start scholarship evaluation ofoutstanding post-graduates of 2013. Here is a notice on the relevant matters asfollows:

A: Selection objects: allpost-graduates of 2013

B: Selection schedule:

1) Before November 7th:Those who meet the requirements need to write a 3000-word individual researchprojects and fill out a development application form of outstandingpost-graduates, then submit these application materials to teaching secretaryof the post-graduate institution.

2) Before November 14th: Theinstitution will deliver the research projects and application form to thesupervisor for inspection. The supervisor will make an appointment with theapplicants for communication and carry on the evaluation and grading in theapplication form. The working group will evaluate and grade in accordance withadmission grades, research projects, and oral defense and so on.

3) Before November19th: Theinstitution will fill in “summary form of recommended outstanding post-graduateof 2013", students' research projects, application form and score(including electronic material), and then submit them to post-graduate programfaculty.

4) Before November 29th:Experts organized by the post-graduate program faculty will make acomprehensive evaluation of the recommendation list. Finally the result will besubmitted to the school for approval.

C: Please remember the total number ofoutstanding post-graduate students is six.
