Research Interests:
Language policy and language planning, and comparative education of language.

More than 60 academic papers published in journals, including prestigious journals such as Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Contemporary Linguistics, Modern Foreign Languages, Foreign Language Research, Multilingual and Multicultural Development and Global Chinese.
A monograph entitled A Comparative Study of Language Educational Policies between China and USA: in the Context of Globalization.
Translation of two classic English monographs “Language Policy: a Key Topic of Sociolinguistics “and “Language Management” by Bernard Spolsky.

A number of projects at various levels, including two National Social Science Fund projects. Awards:
