Research Interests: 

English andAmerican literature and Western literary critical theory.

Publications:

More than 30 papers published in noted academic journals such as Foreign Literature Review, Hebei Xuekan, and Jounal of Tsinghua University as well as 13 books including 3translation works and some dictionaries, such as An English-Chinese Wordbank of Scientific and Technological Terms (four volumes, 24 million words), AnEnglish-Chinese Dictionary for Abbreviations and Acronyms (three volumes,13 million word), Extensive Reading forEnglish Majors of Colleges (four volumes, 1.5 million words), American Scene by Henry James  (a translation), Moby Dick by Herman Melville (atranslation), Post-colonialism byPostcolonial Theorist Robert Young (atranslation), and I. A. Richards andChinese Culture: Dialogue between Chinese and Western Cultures and ItsInfluence which had been collected by the libraries of Harvard, Yale, Emory,Pennsylvania, Michigan, London, Hong Kong University, etc, up to the end of2013.
