Lecturer Profile:
Wang Huashu, Ph.D. in Translation, “Yunshan Young Scholar” of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, supervisor of master's degree in Advanced Translation Institute, director of Translation Technology Education and Research Center, researcher of Translation Research Center, concurrently president of Translation Technology Research Association of World Translation Education Alliance (WITTA), deputy secretary-general of Localization Service Committee of China Translation Association, and deputy secretary-general of Chinese English-Chinese Comparative Translation Association. He is also the deputy secretary-general of China Translation Association Localization Service Committee, deputy secretary-general of Foreign Language Education Technology Research Committee of China English-Chinese Comparative Research Association, technical advisor of UTH, ALSP, and Translation Commons, and visiting professor and special expert of many universities. He has published more than 60 papers in journals such as China Translation, Foreign Language, Foreign Language E-Learning, Shanghai Translation, etc. He has hosted or participated in more than ten national and provincial scientific research projects and published more than ten books such as Research on Translation Technology in the Era of Artificial Intelligence, Introduction to Computer-Assisted Translation, Translation Technology Tutorial, 100 Questions on Translation Technology, Interpretation Project Management, Translation, and Localization Project Management, etc. books. Research interests: computer-aided translation, interpretation technology, localization technology, language service management, terminology management.
