The College of Foreign Languages held an essay writing activity on New Governance, New Town and Country

The College of Foreign Languages, under the guidance of the Party Committee of the College, organized an essay writing campaign on the theme of New Governance, New City, and Countryside during the winter holiday of 2020. Students and teachers responded positively.

After the activity was launched, a large number of contributions were received from students of various colleges. The students introduced the new initiatives and results of changing the concept and promoting good local governance in their hometowns in recent years around issues such as industrial upgrading, ecological protection, urban and rural construction, tourism development, convenient transportation and logistics, improvement of people's livelihood and governance according to law, showing the big changes and new changes in their hometowns and also reflecting the important role of promoting the modernization of governance system and capacity in national construction and local development. Some students also introduced the hard-core measures taken by their hometowns to prevent and control the pandemic in conjunction with the work of pandemic prevention and control, as well as their participation in the work of pandemic prevention and control volunteers, showing a positive and vigorous spirit of contemporary college students who dare to take charge and act.

Because of the pandemic, our students and teachers are still teaching online at home, and this activity is continuing to enrich the after-school life of students and teachers and spread more positive energy to fight the pandemic.
