On the afternoon of March 9, the National College Students Take a Course on Pandemic Prevention and Control organized by the Department of Social Science of the Ministry of Education and other departments was launched through the online platform People's Daily Online. Under the unified organization of the Student Affairs Office of our university, all students of the College of Foreign Languages watched this big lesson on thinking and politics, and after the lesson, each student party branch of the college conducted a discussion and exchange activity on learning and feeling.
The 2018 undergraduate student party branch carried out this activity through WeChat video. Ouyang Shu, secretary of the branch, led the students to briefly review the main contents of the Civic and Political Science class, pointing out that the lecturers elaborated their views on the pandemic prevention and control work and the pandemic prevention and control situation from different perspectives, such as theory, history and youth mission, which were full of materialistic dialectic thinking and had an important inspirational effect on how to understand the pandemic, how to do a good job of protection and how to work hard to fulfill the youth mission. During the discussion, the students agreed that the positive results of the pandemic prevention and control work were a reflection of the superiority of the socialist system, the resolute and decisive leadership of the Party, the advantages of China's national governance system, and that as university students, they should start from themselves, cooperate with the requirements of the pandemic prevention and control work, not be confused by various rumors, do a good job of self-protection, seriously carry out the online study, do not stop studying when classes are suspended and do not miss study at home.
