On the afternoon of January 3, 2020, the College of Foreign Languages held an end-of-semester general meeting of all faculty and staff in the college lecture hall. Vice President He Shaobin reported the achievements and shortcomings of the College in scientific research and postgraduate work in the past year, and encouraged the teachers to make further efforts to achieve further success in projects, papers and subject declarations.
Vice President Guo Haixia reported the achievements in professional construction and undergraduate teaching in the past year. 2019, our college was awarded a special reform pilot team and 10 high-quality reform pilot courses in the Shanghai University Curriculum Civic Leadership Program in the area of curriculum thinking and politics; one university high-quality online course and two high-quality courses under construction.
Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang reported the student work of the college from three aspects, including party building and thinking, academic style construction and employment work, and thanked everyone for their active participation and support to the student work of the college.
At the meeting, Secretary Zhu Yaobin especially emphasized that as a socialist university, the College of Foreign Languages should pay attention to ideological work, firmly follow the direction of socialism, and seriously cultivate socialist successors; in addition, in the construction of the Party style and clean government, and the construction of teacher morality, we should always maintain a clean campus environment and have zero tolerance for behaviors that violate teacher morality.
