Party Committee of the College of Foreign Languages Holds a Symposium for Ethnic Minority Students

In order to understand the study and life of minority students and enhance the communication between teachers and students, a symposium for minority students of the College of Foreign Languages was held in Room 515 of the Foreign Language Building in the afternoon of December 25. Zhu Yaobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the College, attended the meeting, and representatives of minority students from different grades and nationalities participated.

During the meeting, Zhu Yaobin and Qian Minfang listened to the report of the minority students' study, life, final examinations and job hunting and research, focusing on understanding the difficulties of the students in their studies and campus life, and guiding and helping them to solve the problems they encountered.

During the discussion, the teachers and students exchanged views on classroom teaching, examination selection and preparation, etc. The senior students actively shared their experience in preparation for the examination with the junior students and made their own suggestions on the selection of majors and schools in the examination.

In his concluding speech, Secretary Zhu Yaobin hoped that all minority students should better adapt to the university environment, arrange their personal study life and deal with interpersonal relationships well; seize the main task of study, overcome various difficulties and improve their professional level; plan their career development rationally and give full play to their personal advantages.

The symposium promoted communication between teachers and students, listened to students' opinions on teaching, management and services, and also guided minority students to better spend their college life and promote campus harmony and stability.
