Abstract:

Improving the operativeness of translation criticism is consistent with the goal of building the theory of translation criticism. To this end, based on the analysis of the mainstream definition of translation criticism, this paper divides translation criticism into textual criticism, semantic framework, translation criticism and translation criticism based on the principles of frame semantics and the ideas of Holmes' roadmap of translation studies. semantic framework, act criticism semantic framework and effect criticism semantic framework, and establishes that each sub-semantic framework is the core of the general semantic framework of translation criticism. The core elements of each sub-semantic framework up to the general semantic framework of translation criticism are established, the boundaries between the semantic frameworks are clarified, the individual characteristics of each semantic framework and the interaction between the semantic frameworks are highlighted, the theoretical construction of translation criticism and the improvement of the operability of translation criticism practice are integrated, which is conducive to putting into practice the general goal of comprehensiveness, objectivity and scientificity of translation criticism, and the establishment of the semantic framework of translation criticism It is the establishment of the main position of translation criticism, which needs to be given full attention.

Zhou Lingshun, Ph.D., second professor, doctoral supervisor and postdoctoral supervisor, executive director of China English-Chinese Comparative Studies Association, member of Translation Theory and Translation Teaching Committee of China Translation Association, member of Academic Committee of Yangzhou University, Outstanding Talents and Leading Talents of Yangzhou University. He is a visiting professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and an editorial board member of Shanghai Translation, Theory and Practice of Foreign Language Teaching, Journal of Foreign Languages, Journal of Foreign Language Institute of the People's Liberation Army, Journal of Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute, etc. He has presided over more than ten projects, including the key project of the National Social Science Foundation of China, the post-grant project of the National Social Science Foundation of China (two projects), the project of the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education and the provincial social science foundation.
