On the afternoon of March 9, the International Lingang Painted Dingke cultural experience exchange activity for overseas talents, sponsored by Lingang New Area Immigration Affairs Service Center, hosted by Lingang New Area Multilingual Service Center and co-organized by the Youth League Committee of the College of Foreign Languages, was successfully held in Dingke community. The event attracted nearly 30 overseas talents from 8 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, Germany, Switzerland and France, to jointly explore the charm of traditional Chinese culture and experience the important supporting facilities of Dingke Community Port Center.
Cai Baodi, Director of Shanghai Entry-Exit Documents Administration, Jiang Jing, Minister of Party and Mass Work Department of Lingang Management Committee, and relevant persons in charge of School Youth League Committee and College of Foreign Languages attended the meeting. Under the guidance of professional teachers, overseas talents experience traditional tie-dye handicrafts and feel the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture. The students of the school's folk orchestra brought an audio-visual feast to the overseas talents present, allowing them to enjoy the charm of classical Chinese folk music.
Guests participating in the event said that tie-dye, as an integral part of China's intangible cultural heritage, is a link and bridge for mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and Lingang provides a beautiful working and living environment for overseas talents, and has carried out a number of measures to promote immigrant integration and social integration.
After experiencing the event, the overseas talents visited the Lingang Center's modern facilities such as the conference Center, Wisdom Library and Performing Arts Center.
This cultural experience exchange activity is the first overseas talent activity carried out by Lingang New Area Multilingual Service Center in the Year of the Dragon. The teachers and students team of the College of Foreign Languages carefully organized and planned the theme, content arrangement and translation team of the activity. By deepening the integration of production and education, we can accumulate rich English teaching cases and corpus, promote the high-quality development of production, university and research, and provide strong support for the internationalization construction of Lingang New Film District.
