On the morning of July 3, the College of Foreign Languages held a symposium of young teachers in Conference Room 515 and made in-depth exchanges and communication on the 3+X assessment work. The meeting was presided over by Li Pinyou, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Foreign Languages, and attended by Zhang Yan, president of the College, Jiang Zhejie, vice president, Duan Jinlong, director of the office, and 22 full-time teachers who joined the school after 2018.
Dean Zhang Yan introduced the recent assessment of the 3+X employment period of the school and explained in detail the school's Shanghai Maritime University Assessment and Renewal Management Measures for New Teachers, Shanghai Maritime University Implementation Measures for the appointment of professional and technical positions, and the three-year assessment indicators for the first appointment period of new teachers of the school. The dean answered questions and refueled for the teacher at the scene, and she hoped that everyone would plan, gather their hearts, and go ashore as soon as possible.
Secretary Li Pinyou made three requirements. First, we should have the spirit of the contract, and strict requirements against the employment contract; Second, we must have a sense of danger, wait for no time, continue to fight, and not give up until we achieve our goals; The third is to have a sense of revolution, strengthen organized scientific research, and integrate into the school's shipping, logistics, and Marine specialties.
At the meeting, Zheng Songyun and Pan Yun teachers shared their experience in teaching, listening to lectures, participating in teaching competitions, and organizing scientific research.
The exchange atmosphere of young teachers was warm, and they expressed their gratitude to the college for providing a good platform for the development of teachers and thanked the seniors of the college for providing guidance. They will spare no effort to exert their research strengths and contribute their youth power to the development of the school and the college while completing the assessment.
